- Starring Role - “Chris Mann: Home for Christmas, Part 2”
#1 Billboard, Amazon, and iTunes Recording Artist Chris Mann has made a big name for himself in a few short years. A Southeast High School graduate, Mann left his hometown of Wichita to study vocal performance and Opera at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. In 2012, he took a chance and auditioned for NBC’s smash hit, The Voice, joining “Team Christina Aguilera,” and was her finalist for the season.
Following his success on The Voice, he produced several albums, including Roads and Constellation, both of which rocketed to the top of the Billboard charts. In addition, he recorded his very first PBS concert DVD and CD, “Chris Mann In Concert: A Mann For All Seasons,” and appeared on PBS’ National Memorial Day Concert. During that unforgettable concert, Chris performed on the West Lawn of the United States Capitol for a live audience of over 300,000 and millions of TV viewers to honor American service men and women and their families.
Since these successes, Mann was hand-picked by Andrew Lloyd Webber to don the iconic mask of the The Phantom in more than 700 performances spanning two years for the national tour of The Phantom of the Opera. In 2017, Mann appeared twice with the WGO, first as the guest of honor for Wichita Grand Opera’s Champagne Opera Ball on May 6th, 2017, followed by hi return to Wichita to perform in last seasons amazing concert, Chris Mann: Home for Christmas. He is currently working on a new album, Urban Songbook. Its release date has not yet been announced.
