"An Evening in Paris" Opera Ball- Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 6 pm

WGO’s annual Opera Ball is our premier social event of the season, and one of the WGO’s biggest fund raisers to help support our mission of providing educational opportunities for young and resident opera singers in the region to sing roles and work directly with some of the Opera world’s best and brightest superstars of the stage, conductors, stage directors, etc.
“An Evening in Paris” will be a place where the movers and shakers in the legal, medical, financial, construction, and entrepreneurial fields of Wichita gather, to greet old friends and meet new ones.
Our Co-Chairs for the Evening, London and Galina Younger with Robert and Mzia Gibson, and their committee, are working hard to prepare an evening of fun and entertainment, fine food and fine wine, and a myriad of luxury live and silent auction items for those in attendance.
The Wichita Grand Opera prides itself in having amazing Guests of Honor every year, from Opera legends Luciano Pavarotti, Placido Domingo, Samuel Ramey, and Joyce DiDonato, to retired USAF Four Star General Richard Myers (former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and current President of Kansas State University); Katie Stam, Miss America 2009; former Governor of Kansas Sam Brownback; and most recently, Wichita’s own Phantom of the Opera, Chris Mann.
This will be an evening of great music, fun, food, fellowship, and giving, all to benefit Wichita Grand Opera and the future of great performances in Wichita and the region.
