Bryn Holdsworth

Praised by the New York Times for her "limpid-toned, articulate soprano," Bryn Holdsworth is a standout presence on national opera stages, celebrated for her versatile repertoire and compelling performances.


In the 2024-2025 season, Bryn made several role debuts, including the title role in Rusalka with Pacific Northwest Opera, Musetta in The Atlanta Opera’s production of La bohème, Frasquita in Carmen, and Luisa in Luisa Miller (cover) with Sarasota Opera.


Ms. Holdsworth’s past credits include Clorinda in La cenerentola, Annina in La traviata, Ghost Quartet Soprano and Rosina (cover) in The Ghosts of Versailles, Norina in Don Pasquale, Marie (cover) in La fille du ré giment, Krysia in Out of Darkness: Two Remain, Mimì in La bohème, Pamina in The Magic Flute, Vixen (cover) in The Cunning Little Vixen, Chrisann Brennan (cover) in The (R)evolution of Steve Jobs, Madeleine in Silent Night, and Lucilla (cover) in La scala di seta. She has performed with The Atlanta Opera, Nashville Opera, The Glimmerglass Festival, Sarasota Opera, Pacific Northwest Opera, Châ teau de Versailles Spectacles, Des Moines Metro Opera, New York Opera Festival, and Crested Butte Music Festival.


Concert credits include Carmina Burana at Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center, and Mahler's 8th Symphony with Oratorio Society of New York.


Ms. Holdsworth holds both Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from the Manhattan School of Music, trained with International Vocal Arts Institute, and Marilyn Horne's The Song Continues at Carnegie Hall.
