Logan Tarwater
Logan Tarwater, Baritone, is excited to be making his WGO debut. He appeared most recently in the region as Masetto in Lawrence Opera Theater’s Don Giovanni. Other area performances include the title roles of Figaro in Wichita State University’s recent production of Le nozze di Figaro and Marc Hoffeditz's Mr. Twister and the Tale of Tornado Alley with Opera Kansas at Exploration Place. Before beginning studies towards his Master’s Degree in Opera Performance at WSU studying under Alan Held, Logan performed onstage with several professional companies in his native Washington, D.C. area including Annapolis Opera, Loudoun Lyric Opera, and Little City Opera. A versatile singing actor, other recent engagements have included the roles of Leporello in Don Giovanni, Sam in Bernstein’s Trouble in Tahiti, and Dr. Gregg in Douglas Moore’s Gallantry. Logan spent the summer of 2022 as a part of Brevard Music Center’s Janiec Opera Company where he performed the roles of the Governor/Innkeeper in Man of La Mancha and Zuniga in Carmen. Logan lives in Wichita, Kansas where he spends his time running, cooking, and catering to the whims of his chihuahua-mix, Monte.
