Pulip Han
Pulip Han is a soprano from Seoul, South Korea. She is completing her Master of Music in Opera Performance with a Graduate Teaching Assistantship at Wichita State University studying under the tutelage of Alan Held. She debuted her first lead role as Susanna in WSU’s production of Le Nozze di Figaro. Previously, she was seen as Suor Genovieffa in their production of Suor Angelica. She also received her Master’s degree in Voice Performance from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University, where she performed on IU’s opera stage as both principal and chorister. Previous experiences include Bianca in La Rondine and chorus in Anne Frank(world premiere) and L’Etoile at the IU Opera Theater. She completed her Bachelor of Music at Hanyang University in her hometown, Seoul. Miss Han is an active performer and most recently took home an Encouragement Award from the Metropolitan Opera’s Laffont Competition.
