Theresa Carlomagno

Theresa Carlomagno, an up-and-coming soprano, possesses a voice characterized by its rich fullness and resonant warmth, which epitomizes a timeless expression of vocal artistry. Her repertoire features powerful portrayals of iconic characters such as Adina in L’Elisir D’Amore and Adele in Die Fledermaus. Last season, she made her European debut embodying Adalgisa in Bellini's Norma under the baton of Maestro Kohn & director, Tom Volf. Her artistry and dedication have earned her a Governor’s Award, 1st Place in the International Grande Music Competition, & a place at the Met Opera Intensive Guild. 


Her performances have placed her on stage with talents including Andrea Bocelli, Mario Frangoulis, and other luminaries, earning acclaim for her artistry. In the upcoming season, Theresa takes on the role of Gretel with the Wichita Grand Opera under the masterful direction of Whitney Reader. Theresa aims to re-ignite a deep passion for this cherished art form by touching audience’s hearts with captivating performances.
